Technical Projects
Cursed Dash
Cursed Dash was a Game Jam Project I did with a programmer friend of mine during Metroidvania Month 21 (August – September 2023). The optional Theme was ruins. The game turned into a metroidvania autorunner with slight horror elements.
The base design principle behind my sounds was my wish to do sound design for a horror game. But more importantly, this was the first time I decided to implement my SFX with Wwise myself, writing my own code where necessary.
My programmer provided unity events where I could attach my Wwise events with a simple script, showcased in the following screenshots.
The first two screenshots show the unity event, the third my own function posting the Wwise Event to the attached game object.
While it was by no means a incredibly complex project, it was a very fun and rewarding experience and I will be continuing this line of work.
Upcoming Tech Projects
I am currently working on a small programming project in unity, where I will also be implementing the sound with scripting directly in Unity.
I am also designing a small game with the programmer I worked with on Cursed Dash, a local coop „Hidden in Plain Sight“-style 1984 themed game.
Stay tuned!
Sound Re-Designs
Upcoming Sound Re-Designs
I am currently working on a re-re-design of the „A Night To Remember“ Trailer for the game Witcher 3. I originally redesigned the sound during my filmsound module in the second semester at the SAE.
Programming
I started learning C# in November 2023, taught by the magnificent Christoph Graf, and have since then programmed a couple of small console projects, including an escape room, a DnD Arena Simulator and more. Soon I will be able to show some more, but for now its not in the cards yet.
